Implements #191 (plan + R1, review normative): static deep-dive page at /how-it-works (hero + TOC + idea/wal/push/read/checkpoints/boundaries + closing; zero API calls; 4 GIF reuses verbatim via CONCEPT_ALTS import + 2 inline static SVGs with text fallbacks; trace comments pin wal.* config keys). Frontend route + nav entry + cross-links (Landing, WAL tab). Backend explicit howItWorksPage route + how-it-works reservation (06 §3.3 + §14 + router comment) + shell/no-cache server test. Docs: 12 §2.3.x + Decisions. Closes #191.

Static HowItWorks.jsx (hero + TOC + idea/wal/push/read/checkpoints/
boundaries + closing; zero API calls) reusing all four concept GIFs with
alt text imported verbatim from Landing CONCEPT_ALTS plus two static
inline SVGs (HowDiagrams.jsx: CAS sequence, checkpoint timeline).
Frontend route + nav entry + cross-links (Landing, WAL tab); backend
explicit howItWorksPage route + how-it-works reservation (06 §3.3 + §14
+ router comment) with shell/no-cache test. Docs: 12 §2.3.x + Decisions.
R1 B1/S1-S4, N1/N2 adopted.
